| Situated
in the northern part as the crown of India, the vale of Kashmir
is one of the most beautiful regions of India. The state is
ancient and has a history of around 4,000 years. The state
became part of India in 1948, but with a special status under
article 370 of the Indian Constitution. It is bordered by
Pakistan, China and Afghanistan from West to East.
It
is called the ‘Switzerland of India’, because
of the brilliance of its snow-capped mountains and the tranquillity
of its silver lakes. Enjoy a romantic journey on its houseboats
and the splendour of its gardens which hail nature lovers
from all over the world.
Another amusement of Kashmir is its weather. Though it is
a small state, the climate differs from one region to another.
The climate of Jammu region is tropical while Ladakh and Srinagar
are chilling. The best season to visit Kashmir is April to
June for the Kashmir Valley and October to March for Jammu.
Besides natural splendour, there are many religious sites
and other monuments to be seen in and around the valley.
Due
to the infiltration of terrorism, tourism in Kashmir has faced
a major blow since 1988, but now the condition is improving
very fast and once again Kashmir can be seen bustling with
tourists.
Come to the exquisite paradise on earth--Kashmir. A marvellous
vacation with Himalayan Trip at the enchanting vale of Kashmir
will leave you with unforgettable memories of a rendezvous
with eternal beauty.
